150

A little experiment today. Two stories for you, both of them are exactly 150 words in length.
I will try to add audio this week.

Out
“Oh for fuck’s sake,” Mark said.
“What’s up? Ash wandered in, dripping water everywhere.
“It’s my bloody sister, I forgot to Skype her on Friday. Now she’s reported me missing again.”
“Jesus, it’s only Sunday evening.”
“She’s so jumpy. She doesn’t think it’s safe here.”
“In Belgrade? It’s not exactly Yemen.”
Mark reached for his phone but didn’t turn it on.
“Why don’t you phone your sis and tell her you’re okay?” Ash dropped the towel and hopped into bed.
“I can’t.” Mark looked at his fingernails. “It’s all over Facebook and the local newspaper’s website. People are gonna want an explanation.”
“So tell the truth.” Ash gave Mark a cheeky kiss, “tell them we had a weekend of sex, drugs and pizza.”
“Not as simple as that.” Mark sighed.
“Is there someone else?” Ash looked hurt.
“No of course not, it’s just,” He paused, “I’m not "out" at home.”

Taken Away
“Now,” the boy said. He and the girl rushed at the man, knocking him off balance and skilfully removing the bag from his grasp.
“Oi,” the man shouted but it was too late; the two muggers were long gone. The victim looked down at his empty hands almost in a state of disbelief. He looked around to see if anyone had seen what had happened or if anyone would come to his aid, but the street, just like his hands, was empty. He’d never been robbed before so he didn’t quite know what to do. He felt stupid, ashamed. Should he call the police? Would they believe him? Was it his own fault? He shrugged, turned around and went back into the shop he’d just left.
“Chicken chow mein and rice please,” he said.

The server looked at him and scratched his head.  “Didn’t you just order that? he asked.
